What If it’s Really You? What If You Might Not Have As Many Haters As You Think.

What if they aren’t hating on you?

We are damn good at placing blame on someone else.

Finding the boogeyman.

Pointing out what’s wrong with them.

The dirty cop.
The phony.
The competition.
The critic.
The hater.
The flaw in them.

The person who made it because they’re cute.
Or because they’re in the right fraternity.
Or because they’re right clique.
Or because they have a spouse, and you can’t do it because you’re single.
Or the person who made it because they’re single and you have a family to take care of.
But what if you were 100% honest with yourself.

You would realize that you are the only person who continues to let yourself down.

What if your fear of taking the leap and trusting your abilities is keeping you right there on Instagram scrolling through people’s story and timeline — halfway nonchalant, but slightly envious.

Some people call me a guru. I don’t correct them.
