Hustling Hard Ain’t for Everybody.
--
We all want the good sh*t.
Instagrammable results in life that we can post.
To go viral for our dopeness.
To get all the likes on our filtered pictures.
Money and fame.
The good life.
Or maybe you just want to find the one.
Or to stop the pain you feel from a breakup.
Or the death of a loved one.
Or maybe you just need a job and don’t know where to start.
No matter what you want, you don’t have to obsess over it.
You can relax, take your time, put a plan together and work it over the long haul.
But somehow, social media makes us want things… fast.
The “sleep when I die…” hustle culture is borderline dangerous.
If it works for you, then you can stop reading now and get back on your grind.
Some days, you need the, “No excuses, get out of your comfort zone and sacrifice for the life you want and bust through mindset issues by listening to Gary Vaynerchuk and @tonyrobbins”.
Most times though, you can relax.
Because the truth is… everybody out here trying to figure it out.
Everyone has a problem they’re trying to solve.
And it gets scary at times.
The gurus don’t share that part.
Me personally, I doubt myself, I drop the ball, I miss the mark, I don’t always make the calls I need to make, and a time or two, I questioned myself like, “Damn I should just go back to my cushy corporate gig.”
The point is, you can do things your way, in your time.
No super-hustle.
No ‘ball til you fall’.
It’s okay to be scared, uncertain, and insecure.
It’s okay to work your job, go home, chill with your family, rinse and repeat.
It might be tough… especially when you see everyone’s filtered Instagram veneer life… but give yourself permission to relax & go slow.
