America is pro-kids-getting-massacred-in-schools.

Prove me wrong.

If it wasn’t, there was no way that NO LAWS have been put in place against gun violence to protect our kids.

Yet school buildings have been turned into fortresses with cameras, metal detectors, barbed wire fences, and justifiably paranoid off-duty officers.

If you have a child, they are trained.

They go through live-shooter drills regularly.

They are fully aware that they can be slaughtered every time they go to school.

They know how to turn off the lights, flip over their school desks, and… “Shhhh, be really-really-really quiet.”

And pray that their little bodies aren’t riddled by the bullets of an enraged teenage boy.

Out babies live with this stress.

It’s not normal.

It’s not okay.

It’s as American as apple pie.

Because America is pro-kids-getting-massacred-in-schools.

Prove me wrong.

I really don’t understand the arguments against measures to make buying guns safer.
